72 vette wiring issue

One of the projects I’ve been working on with my 1972 Corvette is the gauge cluster and speaker wiring.

Wiring has always been one of the harder parts of working on cars for me. Mechanical work usually makes more sense once I can see how everything fits together, but electrical problems can be a lot more frustrating. There are a lot of wires, connections, grounds, and small details that can cause problems if something is hooked up wrong.

For this project, I’ve been going through the gauge cluster wiring, checking connections, and working on the speaker wiring at the same time. It has taken some patience and a lot of double-checking, but I’m slowly getting more comfortable with it.

Projects like this are part of why I wanted to make C&C in the first place. I’m not trying to act like I know everything. I want to show the parts of the build that are difficult too, and how I learn through them.

Wiring is still something I’m working on getting better at, but every time I finish another section and get something working correctly, it makes the next electrical project a little less intimidating.
