My 1972 Corvette 350

My 1972 Corvette is one of the cars that means the most to me. It’s powered by a 350 small-block Chevy, and even though it’s an older car, that’s a big part of what makes it special.

What I like most about the car is how simple and mechanical it feels. You can hear the engine, feel the car, and really understand what it’s doing when you drive it. The 350 may not be the newest engine out there, but it has that classic Chevy sound and personality that fits the car perfectly.

I’ve spent a lot of time working on this Corvette, fixing small things, improving it, and learning more about it as I go. Some projects have been easy, and others have taken a lot more patience, especially wiring and electrical work. But every job teaches me something new and makes the car feel more like my own.

One of the biggest highlights with the Corvette was taking it to the 37th Annual Payette Car Show and winning the People’s Choice Award. That was a really cool moment because it showed me that other people appreciated the car too, not just me.

The Corvette is still a work in progress, and I don’t think that will ever really stop. There will always be another part to fix, another idea to try, or another detail I want to improve.

For me, that’s part of the fun.

This car isn’t just about having an old Corvette. It’s about learning, working with my hands, enjoying the process, and keeping a classic Chevy on the road.

There’s still a lot more to come with the 1972 Corvette, and I’ll keep sharing the progress here on C&C.
